Treasure Coast Real Estate Overview

St. Lucie, Martin, and Indian River counties: how Florida’s Treasure Coast compares.

What is the Treasure Coast?

The Treasure Coast is the stretch of Florida’s southeast Atlantic coast made up of Indian River, St. Lucie, and Martin counties. The three counties also share one regional workforce board, CareerSource Research Coast. My focus is St. Lucie County (Port St. Lucie and Fort Pierce), and I help clients across the region.

Plan for storms and insurance

Redfin rates St. Lucie County’s hurricane wind risk “Extreme.” Check the flood zone for any address you’re considering (here’s how).

Looking in Martin or Indian River County? The same homework applies: confirm the flood zone and insurance costs for the specific address, and check homestead exemption rules and deadlines with that county’s property appraiser.
